Our house has been filled with miracles this year, beginning with the birth of our beautiful twins Molly and Moira and progressing through so many wonderful changes in the lives of all our children and mothers living here with us.  Leila gave birth to her son, David, Shahd’s health continues to improve and Angel is now strong enough to have the surgery that will vastly improve the quality of her life.  These are but of few of the many highlights of what has been a momentous year.

Our numbers keep growing and it seems that with each new addition to our home there is a new injection of energy and hope. We are now waiting for another child to join us from overseas and we hope to be able to share more news about that soon.

None of this would be possible without the extraordinary support we receive from our volunteers.  It’s because of their dedication and hard work that we are able to do what we do and I can’t thank them enough.

I also can’t thank our generous sponsors and donors enough for their kindness throughout the year.  It seems that whatever need we have, it’s fulfilled by the generosity of one of our supporters, whether it’s a new car, weekly food and pharmacy supplies, or much needed renovations to our house.  You are all very much a part of our big family.
