Moira was recently deeply honoured to receive the 2018 Variety International Humanitarian Award for services to children in Australia and internationally.  She joins a distinguished group of past recipients, including Sir Winston Churchill, HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, Dr Henry Kissinger, Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn, Sir Roger Moore and prominent Australian businessman and philanthropist, Richard Pratt AO.

The honouring of the award came as a complete surprise to Moira. She travelled to Adelaide to receive it with her very dear friend Louise Ward, a fellow member of the Board of our Foundation. Louise tells us, “Everyone present was touched by Moira’s life of service and her genuine sincerity to better the lives of children.”
